Cultural visit: NAVAL MUSEUM #ConoceMadrid
Next July 20 we will visit the Naval Museum. This museum was a project that has its origins in 1792, born with the idea of a didactic vocation to contribute to the instruction of midshipmen (students aspiring to become officers within the Spanish Navy). However, the political events of the 18th and 19th centuries frustrated its materialization. It was not until 1842 that the idea of creating a Marine museum in Madrid reappeared.
This museum houses pieces that write world naval history, where we will see, among other objects: the astronomical compendium of Felipe II, a porcelain collection from the Ming dynasty, models of the most famous ships in our history, a collection of cartography and archeology impressive underwater.
The capacity is very limited and for this reason we appreciate that you register as soon as possible. If you finally cannot attend, please cancel your registration so that someone else can use the space you have left free. Registration will be open until Friday, July 7, at the request of the museum itself.
We will wait for you!
