Next Wednesday, July 19 at 7:00 p.m. we will have Francisco Javier Verdera Marí, Director of Sustainability and Regulatory Affairs at KNOWENCE, to talk about national and international market trends, the importance of taking into account issues such as safety, quality or the environment , and the emotional, ethical and sustainable factors when selling, the digitization of communication channels towards the consumer and other current issues related to marketing and business management.

What issues will be covered in this masterclass?

Throughout 45 minutes, our speaker will talk about:

• Global market trends: Monitoring topics of interest to companies and society (examples World Economic Forum strategic intelligence) and how to respond to these challenges.
• Risk management in light of global market trends.
• Access to international markets and compliance with legal requirements in the markets.
• The need to meet consumer expectations in terms of safety, quality and the environment. Why companies should only offer safe products or services and the reputational risk of not doing so (in a world prone to compulsive and viral communication).
• The growing importance of emotional, ethical or sustainability factors: responding to the challenges and opportunities of 'green deals', the circular economy and the "green and digital" double transition.
• Climate action, no deforestation and sustainability as selling points.
• Containers and packaging: plastic vs metal. What is more sustainable?
• Labeling and information on products.
• Digital bridges to the consumer: augmented reality, improve the experience, product information.
• Other soft aspects such as fair trade, talent and fair employment (avoiding modern slavery), zero tolerance for corruption and whistleblowing, universal accessibility (beyond braille), gender considerations and how they increasingly affect companies and their market share.
• How to communicate the virtues of our products or services, being able to demonstrate what we say. Why you should buy our products or services and not those of another company.

3. Elimination of fillers: We'll teach you how to reduce the use of unnecessary fillers and improve your verbal fluency to deliver a more professional and convincing presentation.
4. Eye contact: You will learn the importance of eye contact and how to use it strategically to connect with your audience, building trust and credibility.
5. Adaptation to the audience: You will discover how to differentiate and understand your target audience, to adapt your presentation and ensure that your message is relevant and persuasive.
6. Time management: You will learn effective techniques to optimize time during your presentation, making sure you convey your key ideas concisely and without losing the audience's interest.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in our pitch competition, where each group will present their startup in just 3 minutes. Presentation of the report: White Paper on Ethical Leadership in Spain

Next May 17, in the auditorium of the Joaquín Costa, 41 campus, the White Paper on Ethical Leadership in Spain will be presented, directed by Pilar Llácer, professor and director of the Work of the Future Center at EAE Madrid.  The presentation will include a round table in which the eight key competencies and the three cross-cutting behavior axes will be discussed to establish a model of ethical leadership.

The table will be made up of Carlos Santos Garcia, General Director of Ibermutua; Gloria Lomana, CEO 50 & 50 Gender Leadership; Juan Miguel Sucunza, president of the CEN Business Confederation of Navarra; Luisa Garcia, partner and CEO of Europe of Llorente and Cuenca; and Marta García-Valenzuela, partner at Talengo. And it will be moderated by Federico Buyoló, director of culture Fundación Ortega Marañon.
