Open Innovation Challenge

On February 7, EAE Business School Madrid, together with Castellana Properties and Área 101, held the Open Innovation Challenge event with more than 30 students from the Masters in Customer Experience and Innovation, Master in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Master in Project Management, Master in Human Resources and Talent Development and the MBA.

The Open Innovation Challenge consists of a four-week challenge resolution process, where students organized in groups with the support of an Area101 "Lean Coach" and a proven methodology, manage to go from challenge to solution, delivering a solution tangible in prototype form together with a business model and deployment strategy.

The challenge that Castellana Properties shared with the students is to devise new business models for Castellana Properties shopping centers and retail parks. The best solution will be awarded by the company in addition to learning about the challenges that this industry is currently facing.
