Residential program at Harvard Law School (HLS): Course in Law and Economics

As a participant del Master in Economic Analysis of Law and Public Management, you will have the option of doing an intensive course on the Economic Analysis of Law run annually by Harvard Law School, sponsored by the Fundación Rafael del Pino. The course is run in October and you will be eligible to take part if you have completed the tuition period of the Master. Participants are selected taking various criteria into account. On completion of the course you will receive an accrediting certificate issued by HLS.

On successful completion of your program, you will receive a double qualification: Master in Economic Analysis of Law from EAE Business School and the Master in Economic Analysis of Law from the Universidad Internacional de la Empresa (UNIE).

    In all case, students who wish to access the Master who have a qualification other than those specified above or who have not completed a Bachelor Degree, University Diploma or other undergraduate program that includes the fundamental knowledge covered by these qualification programs must complete supplementary training courses to develop their knowledge bases to the required level with respect to the basic areas of law and/or economics.

    These supplementary courses will vary between 0 and 12 ECTS, depending on the qualification program the student wants to access and the student’s prior academic competencies, as shown by their individual academic record. The number and content of the credits to be taken will be determined by the Academic Committee of the University Master program.

    The supplementary training modules are courses commonly included on Bachelor Degrees in Business Administration and Management, worth 6 ECTS each, although they are scheduled differently to a Bachelor Degree, as they are run with a timetable compatible with the student’s Master classes.

    Specifically, the following supplementary training courses have been designed:

    • Principles of economics
    • Introduction to law

    The supplementary training courses will ensure the acquisition of the competencies required to start the Master program.
