EAE Business School now has a new Alumni President: Ramón Abella
Ramón Abella, an EAE Business School alumnus and current director of Intersafe Iberia, has been selected as the new president of EAE Alumni. The EAE Alumni network aims to promote connection and networking among the more than 80,000 alumni of EAE Business School from more than 100 different nationalities. He succeeds Nuria Guix in the position and will work to fulfil the objectives of EAE Alumni, including the constant updating of students' knowledge and professional skills, supporting their professional careers through advice and guidance, organising meetings and conferences to encourage networking, and promoting EAE talent in the business environment.
Abella studied the Master in Sales and Commercial Management at EAE Business School and has more than 20 years of experience leading business development projects at Lyreco, in addition to more than 10 years of dedication to managing corporate sales teams in the same company.
Alumni EAE offers its alumni five main areas of service to meet their academic and professional interests, including professional development, continuing education, knowledge, networking and the E-Club. It also has its own magazine called Talent Alumni Review and holds an annual Alumni Annual Meeting, an event that provides an opportunity for reflection and debate, where cutting-edge business initiatives are presented and networking is encouraged to share experiences and strengthen personal and professional relationships. Abella expressed his enthusiasm for his new position and his commitment to further improve the quality of the services offered by Alumni EAE, as well as to continue promoting the internationalisation of its activity.
RAMÓN ABELLA'S PROFESSIONAL CAREER
Ramón Abella, a leading professional in the Tourism and Hospitality sector, has recently been appointed as President of EAE Alumni. Abella holds a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism and Hotel Management and a Master's Degree in Sales and Marketing Management from EAE Business School, as well as a PMD from ESADE Business School Barcelona.
Abella's professional career is quite extensive. After his first years in Tourism and Hospitality, he focused on the world of marketing and sales to develop successful projects in several business lines of the companies he has worked for. During his last stage at Lyreco Iberia as Corporate Area Sales Manager, he excelled in business and sales management and development.
Abella has extensive experience in B2B environments and is currently the Director of Interfase Iberia, the new business line of the Lyreco Group specialising in integrated safety solutions and personal protective equipment (PPE).
