EAE Aware Madrid: Students Delve into Volunteer Work
Yesterday, at the Joaquín Costa headquarters in Madrid, EAE Aware: Empowering Collaborative Environments through Volunteering took place. In the panel discussion, moderated by Sara Herrero, Academic Director of the Business & Talent Department, Natalia García, Communication Manager at AIDA Book & More; Paula Galián, Autonomous Volunteerism, Participation, and Territorial Network Development Technician at Cruz Roja Madrid; Mónica Herreras, Founder of Tumaini; Beatriz Barajas, Institutional Relations at the Libera Project; and Ángela Fernández, Head of Volunteer Area at the Community of Madrid, participated.
The speakers shared the reasons that led them into the world of volunteering and addressed all the students' queries. Beatriz Barajas, from the Libera Project, stated that 'if the problem isn't defined, it doesn't exist.' Throughout the session, the speakers encouraged all attendees to find their niche and the type of volunteering 'ideal for them and their circumstances.'
Following the discussion, there was a networking session with refreshments provided by Lakook Causas CEAR, allowing all students to explore potential collaborations and resolve their queries.
